Comfort Care Medical Group is a local group of medical providers who make “House Calls” to homebound patients as well as patients in Assisted Living Facilities and Adult Congregate Living Centers. Personalized care is provided by highly qualified Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners under the direct supervision of Gary Gotthelf, M.D. and E. Coy Irvin, M.D., who act as the Medical Directors

Gary Gotthelf, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in the Pensacola Area for more than twenty years. While practicing, Dr. Gotthelf noted that as his patient population grew older, they were finding it harder to maintain their office appointments, which resulted in much sicker patients and more frequent ER visits. In order to continue caring for these longtime patients, Dr. Gotthelf started sending his Physician Assistant out into the home to provide necessary care. As the need grew, it became evident that this was a much needed service in the community. This is how Comfort Care Medical Group started in the greater Pensacola area.

In the last four years Comfort Care Medical Group has grown to over 400 patients. Providers are seeing patients throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Comfort Care providers go the extra mile to be sure that your loved ones are well cared for. Not only do they make "House Calls" but they assist in providing the skill and expertise to diagnose, treat, and maintain the health and well being of those you love.
